Homecoming Weekend is the perfect time to experience Mustang football at it's finest.
Pride of The Pacific Marching Band Performance
Homecoming weekend festivities kick off on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 6pm to 9pm at the Farmers Market in downtown San Luis Obispo, at the intersection of Morro and Higuera Streets. The Cal Poly Pride of the Pacific marching band and Mustang cheerleaders will offer a free performance. Be sure to wear green and gold to show your support of Cal Poly football.
Tailgate & Enjoy Mustang Football The Right Way
Enjoy Mustang Football the right way! On game day, tailgating begins in the parking lot at South Perimeter and College. Parking passes can be purchased online for $75. Gates open at 10am. The area is closed at kickoff and no tailgating is allowed during the game.
Mustangs Football Homecoming Game
The Cal Poly Mustangs football team is ready to battle Idaho State. The annual homecoming football game is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 4:05 pm at Alex G. Spanos Stadium. Celebrating 100 seasons of football, the Mustangs are ready to show the fans what Cal Poly football is all about. The team is ranked 6th in the Big Sky Conference. Led by coach, Tim Walsh, the Mustangs have a current record of 3-5. Keep your eye out for senior fullback, Joe Protheroe. He is breaking records with his third career 200-yard game. He is also the 6th Mustang in Cal Poly football history to rush over 1,000 yards in a single season. Ticket prices start at $8 and can be purchased online or at the box office. Be sure to stick around for halftime to see the crowning of the Homecoming Court. This exciting showdown will be filled with non-stop action, encouraged by a stadium full of green and gold fans.
