Enjoy A Slice of Hand-Tossed Pizza at Milestone Tavern

Right around the corner from our community is Milestone Tavern. Located on Foothill Boulevard, they've been hand-tossing their wood-fired pizzas since opening two years ago. Milestone puts a lot of love into their pizza crust, making it in-house from a sourdough starter. For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free crusts are also available.

Pizza is the star of their brunch, midday, and late night menus, meaning from sun up to sun down you can get a slice of their tasty creations. If you're leery about ordering pizza for brunch, consider their Bacon Wrapped Date pizza, featuring honey cured bacon and dates, along with arugula and gorgonzola cheese, all drizzled with a balsamic glaze. That's a pizza worth getting up early for!

The Veggie Delight lives up to its name with a leek cream sauce, fire roasted tomatoes, artichoke hearts, onions, and two different kinds of peppers. Carnivores will appreciate the five different types of meat on the aptly named Meathead. The pepperoni, ham, bacon, chorizo, and carnitas are all smoked and cured in-house. If you have more traditional tastes in pizza toppings, you can play it safe with their pepperoni or tomato basil.

Just about any seat in the house gives you a clear view of their many TVs, making Milestone Tavern the place to catch a game. If the patio is full when you arrive, don't fret. When the weather is nice, the roll-up doors are raised, letting in fresh air and sunshine. Milestone is spacious, at just under 6,000 feet, giving you plenty of elbow room to dig into your pizza.

Milestone Tavern is only one of the many restaurants and cafes close to The Academy Chorro. Our residents never run out of places to eat. For more information about making us your next home, please contact us today. We'd love to set up a tour so you can see all our community has to offer.
